The song as well as the video for \u201c<em>The Magic<\/em>\u201d thematically revolves around <em>music<\/em>. In the video for the song, the viewer gets a tour of significantly important locations for Latvian hip-hop where either music is created or inspiration gets picked up for the creation of music. Locations include <em>Kreisais Krasts recording studio<\/em>,<em> Dirty Deal Audio\u2019s studio<\/em>,<em> the recording studio of rolands \u010de<\/em>, as well as Latvian hip-hop legend Ozols\u2019 clothing store <em>Hoodshop<\/em>, which is full of iconic hip-hop memorabilia and items. In the song, the saxophone is played by Ernests A\u013c\u013cis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis very song and video is a crucial element for understanding the upcoming album. It depicts the relentless creative energy of an artist and the energy for the album itself. It\u2019s all about the magic of music and the unmatched feeling of mysticism that comes with it. That\u2019s why the song is called \u201c<em>The Magic<\/em>\u201d. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>E.V. is a 22-year-old hip-hop artist from Ik\u0161\u0137ile \/ Ogre who writes and performs songs in both Latvian and English. He is a member of two hip-hop groups \u2013 <em>Kreisais Krasts<\/em> and <em>Br\u012bvrunu Projekts<\/em>. The start of his musical career dates back to 2016 but his debut album titled \u201c<em>Imperfect World<\/em>\u201d was released in 2017 (recorded in Dirty Deal Audio). His next big project was titled \u201c2018\u201d (recorded by rolands \u010de) although E.V. himself defines this project as more of a \u201csong collection\u201d than a conceptually formed album. The rapper\u2019s upcoming and most ambitious album yet \u201c<em>The Smoke &amp; Mirrors LP<\/em>\u201d is set to release on the 28th of January, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>E.V. has performed at multiple events as a solo artist and with the aforementioned hip-hop groups.
