Latvian music development association
Latvian Music Export Office was founded in 2012
and since then has been expending both in local
and international level.
Music Latvia is a professional association established in 2012 that plays a vital role in the Latvian music ecosystem. Delegated by the Ministry of Culture, the organization represents the country’s entire non-academic music sector and acts as a unifying voice for artists, composers, producers, and music industry professionals.
Through its activities, Music Latvia addresses key needs and opportunities in the Latvian music industry, fostering sustainable growth, professionalism, and international recognition. The association works to strengthen the education and skills of industry professionals by organizing seminars, masterclasses, and other training opportunities. It also promotes greater engagement of the wider public in cultural life.
Music Latvia is committed to building bridges between the local and international music industries. It has launched significant initiatives such as RIGaLIVE, the region’s leading songwriting camp, and in 2025 it will organize the first-ever Riga Music Week — a music conference and showcase festival bringing together over 50 artists and international delegates.
By supporting collaboration, innovation, and visibility, Music Latvia ensures that Latvian music continues to grow locally and resonate on the global stage.
