Crow Mother is a rock band from Riga (Latvia) whose music is influenced by classic rock from the 70’s, but offers some refreshing touch of progressive and psychedelic rock music. Formed in March 2012, band is still young even though that can’t be said about its members who have been musicians and friends through numerous different bands for long time before joining their forces and inspiration under the name of Crow Mother. Shortly after forming in 2012 band kicked off with recording their first two singles called “Killing the Love” and “Sugar, Blood & Wine”. First two records were more like experiment for band to find its own sound that became more individual in their next two singles – “Winterland” and “Smile Like You Care”. The fascinating energy from band’s live performances and distinctive sound that is accented with mind blowing guitar solos of Jenky got the Crow Mother among the Latvian finalists of Red Bull Tourbus contest for new bands and helped to claim its place on Baltic music stage. In the beginning of 2014 the band released its debut album, “Changes” and went on tour in UK and Baltic’s. Album is devoted to all kinds off changes that can happen in every person’s life, in a country or even in universe. Album includes 12 original songs, which offer everything from melodic ballads to exploding guitar riffs. In the end of 2014 Crow Mother released the first single from the upcoming album – a song called “Grey Wolf”. Production work on the album is continuing, and the album will be released by the end of the 2015.
