Cellar Cat is a Latvian band playing rock and britpop. The band was founded in 2011 by Alex Chorny and Kate Piskuhn, who were influenced by the great britpop and British alternative rock acts of the 90’s, such as Oasis, Suede, The Verve and alike. Cellar Cat finalized current lineup in the first half of 2014 by rethinking and improving the existing material, working on new tunes and creating their unique sound along the way. The band started playing in local clubs half a year later. Currently Cellar Cat is looking forward to playing local and international venues and festivals.
