Vocal band Limonade was founded in the summer of 2009. Three singers – Iluta Valtere, Ieva Katkovska un Kristīne Tkačuka – met while singing in the Gunnar Kalnins Gospel Choir and decided to continue with a trio band. All three singers are also authors of music and lyrics for Limonade songs.

In the summer of 2014 Limonade released their radio single ‘’Your Moment’’ that was produced by one of the top Latvian producers DJ Rudd (Rudolfs Budze). Besides working on the original compositions, Limonade is well known back vocal singers among Latvian bands and artists such as Brainstorm, Raimonds Pauls, Dons, Norumunds Rutulis, Otra Puse, Aminata, Flame & The Rolltones, Arstarulsmirus (ex Gustavo), Linda Leen, etc. Limonade has participated in recording for Ken Hensley (GB) and collaborated with Philip Hamilton (USA) during the ‘’Rigas Ritmi’’ festival.
