Mielavs un Pārcēlāji is a Latvian music band, which was established in 2005 by Ainars Mielavs, Gints Sola and Juris Kroičs, former members of the band Jauns Mēness. In opposite to Jauns Mēness, the band Pārcēlāji plays peaceful and lyrical music.
Already in the first year Pārcēlāji released their debut album “Parunā ar sevi”. The singles like “Paņem mani”, “Sniegs izkūst tavos matos” and “Pāri jumtiem lido kaijas” that also had videos filmed, came into radio circulation. The album was nominated for the Latvian Music Award as The Best Pop Album of the year, while the song “Pāri jumtiem lido kaijas” was nominated as The Best Pop Song of the year. In 2006 the band’s second album “Tad, kad pasauli pārdos” was released. In the beginning of 2007 Juris Kroičs left the band.
