Aminata is one of the most successful young singers and songwriters in Latvia. For two years straight she has participated in Eurovision song contest. In 2015 she achieved sixth place for the performance of her own song Love Injected but in one year later she wrote song Heartbeat to then unknown Latvian singer Justs Sirmais, who also got to the final of the contest. Both songs were written in cooperation with produced Kaspars Ansons.

Ever since Aminata was a little girl, she knew that she wants to be a singer. She has been singing actively since the age of 13 when she started to attend singing classes. At that time Aminata was really into metal music but her musical influences have changed greatly ever since. Now she gets inspired by many genres, especially pop music with a lot of electronica influences.
